The Walt Disney Family Museum is looking for volunteers to help share the history of animation, film, and the life and legacy of Walt Disney with guests from around the world. Volunteers work directly with visitors sharing the inspirational and interactive experience of 10 galleries that narrate the life and work of Walt Disney. We are currently seeking volunteers to help grow our Gallery Attendant and Special Event Assistant rosters.

The San Francisco Arts Education Project, in cooperation with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, presents INTERNATIONAL ORANGE: The Bridge Re-imagined , an exhibition featuring artwork created by students from San Francisco public schools to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge.

In honor of the Golden Gate Bridge 75th Anniversary, we're presenting--in conjunction with The Presidio Trust--a special film series The Bridge on the Big Screen: Movies Starring the Golden Gate Bridge, here at The Walt Disney Family Museum.

Celebrate the start of summer by going on a trip to The Walt Disney Family Museum for the film of the month: Walt Disney’s Bon Voyage! This summer marks the 50th anniversary since the film’s original theatrical release in 1962, and will be screened daily at 1 and 4 p.m. in The Walt Disney Family Museum’s state-of-the-art digital theater this June.

Starting this Summer, Museum staffers Andi Wang (right) and Anel Muller (left) will be reviewing movies--past and present--inspired by, related to, or produced by Disney. Today, we kick-off the "Wang and Muller, Watching Movies" series with a look at the new Snow White and the Huntsman, which is out in theaters today!

Disney Imagineers have worked long and hard to bring more of Walt Disney into the newly expanded and enhanced Disney California Adventure.

The Disney attractions were some of the most popular at the 1964 World’s Fair, and from their successes, Walt gained confidence to move forward on his Florida project. Though he would never see the completion of the new project, the Fair helped lay the groundwork for the ever-expanding vistas of production undertaken by the Disney studio.
