Masks Not Required in Museum, Except Theater: Updated April 21, 2022

In accordance with City and County of San Francisco guidance, masking is strongly recommended, but no longer required while inside the Museum in all spaces, except the theater. For events in the theater, proof of vaccination and masks are required (see policy below). Proof of vaccination is not required for general museum entry.

Additional health and safety guidelines are detailed below. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time, so before your visit, please review current policies at waltdisney.org/welcome-back.

Proof of Vaccination Requirements for Theater Entry: Updated April 21, 2022

In an abundance of caution, events in the museum’s theater will continue to be hosted at a reduced capacity to allow for appropriate social distance between parties.

Guests in the theater ages 12 and older will be asked for proof of full vaccination and photo ID. Guests ages 11 and under are not required to show proof of vaccination for entry to the theater.

Accepted forms of proof of vaccination include vaccine cards, photos of vaccine cards, and digital vaccine QR codes. Negative COVID-19 tests are not accepted for theater entry.

At this time, proof of vaccination is not required to visit the museum galleries—it is only required to attend an in-person program in the theater. All guests in the theater ages two and older are required to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth for the duration of the event.
