This year, in honor of Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary, we will be making multiple stops around the Resort and delving into its history. Our first stop is EPCOT.

Walt Disney always had an eye on the future and technological advancements. When initially planning his Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, also known as EPCOT, near Orlando, Florida, he envisioned an ideal city that would utilize clean and quick transportation. Join us in this workshop as we explore the history of EPCOT and the creation of the monorail, then take a trip into the world of animation as we create the look and feel of a moving monorail. Experiment with timing, spacing, perspective, and proportion to create the illusion of a monorail moving across the screen.
