Virtual Studio Series | Animate Snow Falling (Youth Session)

Eyvind Earle’s love for nature is not only apparent in his work on Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty (1959)—it can be found in his personal works as well! He created whimsical winter landscapes, ranging from snowy trees in Yosemite to frosted buildings in Central Park. In honor of Eyvind Earle’s love for the great outdoors, bundle up with us and see how animators have used various techniques to portray the cooler temperatures in film and television; then learn how to animate a winter scene with a fresh flurry of snow using traditional hand-drawn tools!
