In the upcoming set of Studio Series workshops, we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort by making multiple stops around the Resort and looking at its history. Our first stop is EPCOT.

In the 1960s, Walt Disney worked on a plan called the “Florida Project” which included an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, or EPCOT. The unique concept for this urban city featured futuristic technologies and different ways of living, and would change as the years progressed. Join us for this workshop as we delve into the creation and animation of an evolving city. Using hand-drawn techniques to simulate a time-lapse video, we will animate a landscape changing from what was once prehistoric to more modern-day buildings, then to an out-of-this-world future city.
