Studio Series | Animate Ice Skating (Youth Session)

$10 members | $15 non-members
Sat, Jan 21 | 1–2:30pm
Learning Center

In celebration of The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary, we will be turning back the clock to an earlier series of animated films that incorporated many innovations still used today: the Silly Symphonies.

In the 1930 Silly Symphony Winter, the frosty seasons are perfectly depicted with hibernating animals, snow, and comical ice skating. Join us as we glide through film and television history and explore how characters have mastered the art of ice skating. Using traditional hand-drawn animation, we will animate a character elegantly moving across a frozen lake.
