About the Speakers
Sequoia Blankenship
Sequoia Blankenship is a writer and animator who loves stories, film, comics, and cajeta. He has had the good fortune to work and animate at Pixar Animation Studios for 24 years, working on such films as Ratatouille (2007), Coco (2017), and Incredibles 2 (2018), to name a few. He recently wrote his first graphic novel, Feo the Chupacabra, with his close friend and illustrator Rob Thompson. Sequoia lives with his family in Petaluma, California, the self-proclaimed "Butter and Eggs Capital of the World," which probably means they need to watch their cholesterol.
Rob Thompson
Rob Thompson is an animator, illustrator, and part-time potter. He has worked on several Pixar and Pixar films including Ratatouille (2007), Inside Out 2 (2025), and Hoppers (2026).
