As Mickey Mouse gained popularity, Walt Disney knew the importance of merchandising and thus apparel, mouse ear hats, and—most of all—toys flooded into the hearts and homes of fans! Today, toys are just as important and, in fact, have come to life in various ways within the animated world. Notably, in Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story (1995), animators gave unique personalities and believability to these inanimate objects. Join us for a playful workshop as we draw and animate our own toy brick character moving across the screen!
