We continue to closely monitor the guidance from public officials regarding COVID-19 and, based on government recommendations, The Walt Disney Family Museum remains temporarily closed. The safety and well-being of our community, staff, volunteers, and visitors is our top priority.

“We are continuing to send you and your families our best wishes during this time,” said Executive Director Kirsten Komoroske. “We appreciate your ongoing support and thoughtfulness, and we look forward to next seeing you at the museum.”

In the meantime, we invite you to join us on social media, where we will be providing engaging content celebrating Walt’s life and legacy.

For more information, please see San Francisco Mayor London Breed’s message and California Governor Gavin Newsom’s message on staying home.

Our team is available to answer any questions you may have. Please email visitor-update@wdfmuseum.org with any inquiries and check for updates at waltdisney.org/visitor-update.

If you purchased tickets for general museum admission or an upcoming program and would like to request a refund, please email tickets@wdfmuseum.org. We will be happy to provide a refund, or if you would like to generously donate the proceeds to the museum, we will provide you documentation of your tax-deductible contribution. Note that advanced purchase tickets for general admission can be used for any regular open date in the future.
