In conjunction with our special exhibition Happiest Place on Earth: The Disneyland Story, enter the world of Disney architecture and discover the charming artistry behind castle-themed collectibles. We will explore how Disneyland designers embraced imaginative forms and playful details to craft iconic environments with an approach combining functionality with fantasy and making ordinary objects extraordinary! After, using mixed-media techniques, we will implement principles such as proportion and decorative detail to craft our own miniature castle salt-and-pepper shaker set—perfect for adding a sprinkle of magic to any meal!
