Animation is a versatile medium that allows animators to explore storytelling beyond traditional drawing. Paper, clay, and even sand have proven to be other unique ways to animate a tale. This six-week course will focus on understanding basic animation principles, with each class working with a different medium. Budding animators who wish to experiment beyond traditional pencil and paper will develop a strong foundation, continue to build their knowledge of art and animation, and hone their unique skills.
