In this digital animation Class at The Walt Disney Family Museum, students will be introduced to important digital software and learn the core principles of 2D animation. Throughout the two-week session, students will complete short exercises using techniques that everyday animators utilize to build their own animated pieces.

On-Sale Information

Tickets for Digital 2D Animation will be available as follows:

  • Walt’s Circle Donors: Purchase tickets beginning Tuesday, March 3 at noon PST by emailing membership@wdfmuseum.org.
  • Supporter, Founding, and Friend-level members: Purchase tickets beginning Wednesday, March 4 at noon PST by emailing membership@wdfmuseum.org.
  • All member levels: Purchase tickets beginning Thursday, March 5 at noon PST via the Member Portal.
  • Public (non-members): Purchase tickets beginning Friday, March 6 at noon PST via the Studio ticketing page.

Scholarship Information

To ensure that all students have the opportunity to take classes at The Walt Disney Family Museum, we are pleased to offer scholarships to qualifying families and students of all ages. How to apply:

  • Send an email to studio@wdfmuseum.org with the subject line “Summer Scholarship Information 2026”.
  • Include the student’s name and age, a parent/guardian’s name (if applicable), and the class name and dates.
  • All Summer Class scholarship applications are due no later than Friday, May 1, 2026 at 11:59pm PST.

Accessibility Information

Guests of The Walt Disney Family Museum can request American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters on-demand for our Talks, Workshops, School Experiences, Tours, and Storytimes. If you would like to request an ASL interpreter, please fill out the form linked below. Please note: Interpreter availability is not guaranteed and requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance.

The museum is proud to partner with Bay Area Communication Access (BACA) for our ASL interpreter needs. For more information on their services, please visit BACA's website.
