One of the distinguishing features of Disney characters from the 1930s and 40s was their solid and realistic roundness. In fact, the Character Model Department was created because of the importance placed on visualizing and drawing the body as a three-dimensional object, in both character design and animation. In this workshop, learn about solid drawing and create your own animation of a character rotating, while retaining a feeling of depth.
