Walt Disney held many titles during his career—award-winner, innovator, filmmaker—but above all else, he was a master storyteller. From animation to live-action features, Walt believed it was crucial to tell a good story. He knew when it came to his animated films the accompanying artwork needed to be of equivalent caliber, and was essential to enhancing the connections between the audience and the tale being told on-screen. Illustrations captured the essence and emotions of the stories using tone, color, and mood. Join us for this workshop, where visual development artists from DreamWorks TV, Eli and Oli Ceballos, demonstrate how to digitally illustrate a simple story while conveying mood with color, light, and atmosphere.
