Ub Iwerks helped shape modern animation, and this documentary, directed by his granddaughter, Leslie Iwerks, chronicles the fascinating story of this artistic genius and remarkable inventor, who helped create classic Disney entertainment that still resonates with audiences today. Learn how Ub Iwerks went from being Walt Disney’s right-hand man to the owner of his own animation company, before finally settling in to his role as the inventor of special effects technology that changed the face of the film industry for years to come.
