San Francisco, January 29, 2026—The Walt Disney Family Museum invites guests to raise a glass to Perfect Pairing, a new series of film screenings that thoughtfully blend classic and contemporary Disney films with Californian wines, beers, and spirits. Hosted in the museum’s Fantasia-themed theater, each unique Perfect Pairing event is designed to delight the senses and celebrate community. Carefully selected beverages and light snacks will complement the settings, themes, and characters of each featured film, whilst also showcasing locally crafted flavors and home-grown businesses.
In honor of Black History Month, the museum will kick off this series with Perfect Pairing | Brews & Views: The Princess and the Frog (2009) with Brewing with Brothas on Wednesday, February 11 at 6pm. Celebrating African American stories and creativity, the evening pairs Tiana’s journey to open her own restaurant in 1920s New Orleans in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Princess and the Frog (2009) with brews from East Palo Alto-based Brewing with Brothas.
Brewing with Brothas is a Black-owned craft brewery located in Belmont, CA, creating a wide variety of beers, from Belgian-style ales to seasonal brews. Driven by their passion for beer, co-founders, Denzel Jackson and RiSean "Bookie" Tinsley began brewing every week in their hometown, East Palo Alto. A year later, their Black Belgian Tripel, or BB3, won first place at Taplands 2020 Homebrew competition in Santa Clara, California. Their brewing has since continued to grow momentum with more than 20 collaborations with other craft breweries across the state.
In March, we then celebrate Celtic heritage with Perfect Pairing | Wine and Watch: Brave (2012) with Bally Keal Estate on Wednesday, March 11 at 6pm. This special presentation of Disney/Pixar’s Brave (2012) will showcase a selection of wine from Bally Keal Estate—a Suisun Valley-based winery rooted in Celtic tradition— paired with the story of a young Scottish princess’ struggle to free herself from gendered stereotypes without severing familial bonds.
Bally Keal Estate is inspired by iconic Celtic stories of trade and travel, bringing the old-world custom of warm, natural hospitality to a modern guest experience. Guided by the traditional Gaelic greeting "Céad Míle Fáilte" (Kay-od mee-leh foyle-cha), which translates to "One Hundred Thousand Welcomes," their mission is to ensure that every visitor enjoys personalized, authentic Irish friendliness.
