In conjunction with our special exhibition Happiest Place on Earth: The Disneyland Story, step into the wild and celebrate the legacy of Adventureland and one of Disneyland’s original attractions, the Jungle Cruise. Inspired by Disney’s True-Life Adventures documentary series, this Opening Day attraction brought the thrill of exotic landscapes and daring expeditions to park guests. In this Workshop, discover the evolution of animal animation from comedic cartoons to naturally accurate behavior. After, we will use 2D animation principles like timing and effects animation to create movement and add environmental details like rippling water so you can animate your own hippo rising from the river!
