Xavier “X” Atencio started his career at Walt Disney Productions as an assistant animator and went on to be one of the first Imagineers, writing the scripts for Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. Join us for a discussion of the new Disney Editions book, Xavier "X" Atencio: The Legacy of An Artist, Imagineer, and Disney Legend with authors Tori Atencio McCullough, Kelsey McCullough, and Bobbie Lucas—Atencio’s daughter, granddaughter, and grandchild-in-law, respectively—all of whom also had, or continue to have, careers at Disney. The book contains previously unpublished photographs and artwork from Atencio’s private collection and provides uniquely personal insights into his life, career, and legacy.
Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult who shall be responsible for the child at all times.
Please note: This program is taking place at the ILM Theater located at 1 Letterman Dr.
