In honor of Women’s History Month, join us for a screening of Nancy Meyers’ directorial debut, The Parent Trap (1998), as we pay homage to the many women who have contributed to making The Walt Disney Studios what it is today. Based on the 1961 Disney classic of the same name, The Parent Trap tells the story of Annie and Hallie, a pair of identical twin girls played by Lindsay Lohan—reprising Hayley Mill’s dual role. The twins are unaware of each other’s existence until they cross paths—and fencing swords—at summer camp and hatch a scheme to switch places and meet the parent they never knew. Keep an eye out for a cameo by actress Joanna Barnes, who played the twins’ presumptive step-mother in the original film.
