Join us as we explore skills in animation while learning about race, ethnicity, and cultures from around the world. In this two-week class, you will study diverse stories, writing tropes, and prominent figures within the animation industry. Using 2D animation skills, you design characters and create a short film. At the end of the two-week session, this class will culminate in a special screening of student films; students’ family and friends are encouraged to attend.

Please Note: This class is intended for students who are interested in learning about the process of animation, and is recommended for students who have some prior experience with animation. Please be aware that students will be working in the studio for the majority of class hours.

Scholarship Opportunities

To ensure that all students have the opportunity to take advantage of classes at The Walt Disney Family Museum, we are pleased to offer scholarships for qualified families. Here’s how to apply:

  • Send an email to studio@wdfmuseum.org with the subject line “Scholarship Information.”
  • Please include your name, the student’s name and age, the class you are interested in.
