Everyone knows Walt Disney as the innovator whose dream brought about one of the most successful and renowned companies of our time. Before he got there however, he was just a struggling artist trying to make his way in Kansas City, Missouri. Join Dan Viets, President of Thank You Walt Disney, Inc. co-author of the book "Walt Disney's Missouri: The Roots of a Creative Genius," as he discusses the impact Walt’s youth in Kansas City had on his future career, the trials Walt went through while trying to get his business off the ground, and the importance of preserving that oft-forgotten history of Walt’s time in Kansas City.
