Diane Disney Miller

Co-Founder, The Walt Disney Family Museum

Diane Disney Miller, the first daughter of Walt Disney and Lillian Bounds Disney, is co-founder of The Walt Disney Family Museum along with her son Walter E. D. Miller, and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Walt Disney Family Foundation, the nonprofit organization that owns and operates the museum. The Foundation was established in 1995 and strives to promote education, writing, and scholarship about Walt Disney.

Mrs. Miller is well known for her extensive philanthropic work in the Bay Area and throughout the United States. In addition founding the museum, she played a key role in the successful completion of the Frank Gehry–designed Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and has served on the Board of Governors of the San Francisco Symphony.

Mrs. Miller and her husband, Ronald W. Miller, own the Silverado Vineyards Winery in Napa Valley.  The couple has seven children and 13 grandchildren.
